Mission

After reading the tell-all novel, The Author’s lawyers and agents have demanded him NOT to release his scandalous book. The two sides have now agreed to publication under two conditions:

(1) The Author must release the book anonymously to avoid being cancelled

(2) The Author’s agency will not be representing him on this project

The Mission:

The team at Meta Lit are on a singular mission to publish The Author and are searching for a literary agent and publisher to represent the property and help our client succeed.

Why This Matters:

Today, having a huge following on Instagram or TikTok is, sadly, considered THE goal for so many young people—but it’s not for a specific purpose nor any sense of artistic contribution. It’s just to be “famous” for fame’s sake.

There are no celebrity authors anymore. This is a problem, because it indicates that no one values reading good fiction. With that, our imagination is dying. So many young people are addicted to social media, wishing they were living other peoples’ lives.

Our goal at Meta Lit Entertainment is to put the art back in the artist, and to reinvigorate a dead art form (literature) that serves as an antidote to the mindless scrolling that dominates our lives.

In our opinion, The Author and its anonymous author is the last chance to save literature and catapult authors into cultural relevance once again—where they rightly belong.

The Author is more than just a book, it is the gateway drug to reading.
